This box was originally created as Aquarius Drawer with the 6 little compartments, but he added extra three compartments, which is a total of 9 units. There are two little containers and the first one opens with the first 9 moves and the second unit opens after moving 1,021 moves.
I would say the number of steps does not indicate how difficult it is to open, but it is more of endurance and concentration. I personally think that this type of puzzle which requires high level of concentration and endurance is relaxing because you tend to forget other thing while you are doing the puzzle.
